Board Officers, Founding Web Designers & Community Partners

The Duncan Pride Society (federally registered as Pride Society) is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors rooted in Duncan, Arizona. Because no officer or director receives a salary or stipend, every dollar contributed by members, visitors, and regional grantmakers flows directly into historic preservation at the 1905 Benjamin F. Billingsley House, upkeep of Packer Park, and community improvement grants.

Key Institutional & Heritage Partners

Charles Billingsley · Landmark Property Donor

Grandson of pioneer Duncan Mercantile proprietor Benjamin Franklin Billingsley (builder of the 1905 Victorian cottage at 202 Main Street). Charles Billingsley donated the National Register property (#83002998) to the Duncan Pride Society so it could be restored as a permanent community venue for wedding receptions, family reunions, concerts, and lectures.

Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative (DVEC)

Founded in 1946 to bring rural electrification to the Upper Gila Valley, Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative served as the original community web hosting provider for duncanpridesociety.org, supporting local heritage transparency for Duncan and Greenlee County residents.

Town of Duncan (TOD) Municipal Partnership

Incorporated in 1938, the Town of Duncan collaborates with our volunteers on Packer Park, Main Street beautification, and public utilities. FY2023 Form 990-EZ Schedule O records direct society support to TOD ($1,139) alongside Packer Park maintenance.
